HAPPY STORIES:

This page is dedicated to the pups and dogs that have gone on to new homes.  Not every dog is here as people have busy lives and it can be difficult to track them down for pictures.  They are listed in no special order.

CASHEL'S EVENING

We were afraid to race Evie due to her diminutive size and sweet soft temperment.  Never would I have imagined how much dog was packed in that tiny package. Evie went as a pet to Cindi of Seattle Washington and what a team they turned out to be.  Cindy lure and open courses with Evie and had the amazing opportunity to go to England and compete in the last Waterloo Cup as the only American dog to ever do so.  Evie defeated 2004 Waterloo Plate winner Paddy's Toy and 2004 Waterloo Cup winner Why You Monty.  She made the news in England due to her underdog status.  Evie still lives with Cindi and I'm sure will continue to amaze us with her superdog antics in the future.  We can't express how proud we are of Cindi's accomplishments.

WINDROCK GO GO GADGET

Gizmo was born on Cashel Farm out of Windrock Chynna Doll and By Bels Montana. Windrock Hounds finished Gizmo's AKC Championship with wins over BIS/SBIS specials.  He also has group a placement from the classes.  Gizmo is National Open Field Coursing Association pointed.  Gizmo is now being proven as a sire with his daughter Windrock Candle in the Wind 'Amber' securing a fabulous ASFA lure coursing Best in Field win at the 2007 Grand National.  Gizmo now makes his home with Phil and sister Cherry Bomb in Washington state and he is continuing there with his open coursing and lure coursing career.

WINDROCK OUTLAW JOSIE WALES

Josie is a littermate to Gizmo and Cherry Bomb born here at Cashel Farm. We knew Josie was special from the very beginning.  Bigger than any other pup in the litter at birth with big dark spots and a beautiful head.  We wanted her to be shown if possible and her owner has really outdone himself with her. "Josie" is an AKC Dual Champion AND a Master Courser!  Josie is now #7 AKC female courser of 2007. Top 5 AKC Lure Coursing 2006! Ranked # 5 greyhound ASFA for 2007! Winner BOB AKC LC at the  2007 GCA National!! We look forward to her continued success and will post her wins here.  She makes her home with Dean Write in Pennsylvania.

CASHEL'S KILIMANJARO

Kilo now lives with his new owner Emily, a sweet college student in Fort Collins Colorado.  He has been with Emily for a few months now and they are already inseparable.  Still waiting on new pictures from Emily and when we get them they will be posted here.

CF WINDROCK'S CHERRY BOMB

Cherry is a lovely half and half out of Windrock's Chynna Doll by Bel's Montana.  I personally liked her the best of all the female pups in the litter as she has a wonderful clownish personality as well as stunning good looks. She is pictured here with her dad Phil.  Cherry and Phil are best buds and as you can see from her great big ribbons she has been a monster courser in the Northwest for Phil.  Cherry had a lovely litter of pups last year that should be hitting the coursing circuit this fall and we are anxiously awaiting news of their progress.

CASHEL'S LUCKY CLANCY

Clancy now makes his home on a gorgeous Pennsylvania estate with new buddy Snowy and mom and dad, Babs and Al.  Clancy's only job for the rest of his life will be that of loving companion, to have the run of a beautiful lush acreage and take up his own spot on the family bed. Although his clownish antics in the kennel are missed, we can't be happier with how things have turned out and are looking forward to a long happy relationship with his new family.

CF HANDSOME DAN

Lovely Danny is now living in Kansas as an assistant librarian.  He gets to go to work with mom, Jamie everyday.  Who could ask for more?  Although she has no competitive aspirations for Danny she is already madly in love with him and he will be a wonderful companion for her for a long time to come.

CF LIAM KELLY

Liam is living in beautiful Vancouver Washington with his new owner John.  John intends to become involved in lure coursing in the Washington state area and with Liam's background he should do great.  Liam will be keeping company up there with his aunt Evie and half brother and sister Gizmo and Cherry.  Good luck John.  We will be anxiously awaiting following Liam's progress as he begins his coursing career this fall.

TESTAMONIALS:

Here are a few testamonials recently submitted to the Puppyfind website:

2 Champions from Cashel Farm

I have four wonderful greyhounds from Cashel Farm.  Two of which finished their ASFA field championships in two months one of which is ranked #13 nationwide in ASFA out of 168 greyhounds.  And they are well on their way to their AKC Field Championships with a 5 point major first time out for Talley.  Talley's show career was cut short by a door incident to his tail.  These dogs personalitys and temperments are perfect and fit in great with my Irish wolfhounds and cats.  My new puppy Avatar (Windrock's Chynna Doll x Bels Montana) is a show and lure puppy I can't wait to brag about.

COMPASSIONATE BREEDER

My greyhound, Nigel came from this young lady's kennel, and I would have any of her dogs in my home (if I had the room!). They are all well-bred, well-treated, and loving dogs, and she knows each one of them well, and goes above and beyond for each and every one of them.  The championship bloodlines in her kennel speak for themselves, with several amazing coursing individuals, and one true star bitch Leica.  That dog is amazing to behold on the lure.  Anne is very focused on not only the quality of the greyhounds she breeds as sporting animals, but raises a well-balanced retiree/pet as well, making sure that each dog transitions into a loving home.  She even dog sits for me when I go away, as I do for her, and watching her kennel is always a joy for me.  She has always taken her dogs back into her home if they cannot stay where they are placed, and her committment and passion for the breed is immeasurable. If you decide on a dog from Anne you will not regret it and it will be a "lifer".
